Roundtable Overview
The Innovation Roundtable series consists of facilitated peer discussions on a defined innovation topic of shared interest.
Attendance is limited to 15 participants, by invitation only.
The Houston Roundtable (October 29, 2019)
The topic of discussion focused on
upgrading an established innovation program
Whether innovation is pursued as a corporate function or through the business units, there are always gaps and challenges. Markets change, technologies advance, and the practice of innovation itself evolves. This roundtable included innovation leaders from companies in the process of upgrading their innovation system.
Discussion topics included People (culture, leadership, and mindset); Operations (process, governance, and knowledge flow); and Organization (org structure, knowledge networks, and teams). The discussion centered on what’s working, what’s not, and how to gauge your Innovation Maturity Level.
All participants had a chance to pose their own questions to others who are at different points on the journey. Like past roundtables, this event provided a productive opportunity to learn from the innovation community and build valuable, lasting relationships.
