The Ann Arbor Roundtable was held on May 10, 2019 at Pierpont Commons building in the University of Michigan – North Campus.
Topic of Discussion – Managing the Relationship between the Corporate Innovation Group
and the Business Units
Many organizations struggle to optimize the relationship between the Innovation group(s) and the Business Units. How does the firm decide where to place innovation priorities, in both the short- and long-term? Who holds the budget for exploratory research and disruptive bets? What’s the right way to transition early-stage innovation projects from the Central Innovation Group to the Businesses?
This round table is chance for Corporate Innovation Group leaders and Business Unit innovators to discuss the latest practices in realizing growth opportunities without upending the very businesses that must fund and help market them.
